Bocce is the third most popular sport in the world, after soccer and golf. Bocce in its current form was played as

early as 264 B.C. in Rome. No one really knows how oldbocce is,

but stone balls dating back to 9000 B.C. have been found in Turkey. 25 million people in the U.S. alone play bocce.

Bocce is skill, strategy and just a little bit of luck of the throw.

The first play involves tossing the “pallino”, or jack, the small
white ball that serves as the bullseye.
With terms like kiss, volo and spocking…

Spocking is a hard throw purposely for hitting opponent’s balls, your
balls, or moving the pallino for your own advantage.
